The Message

Come, let us sit upon the bench.

if you have been paying attention to the header images, I do hope you now see the message.

the darkness is only dark to those who do not live it

it is only blinding to those who are used to the light

the darkness is but a temporary effect, and it being purely and entirely evil is but a myth, fashioned by those who exclusively walk within the light yet claim to know the darkness

those who claim that, and wish to draw within the sand are nothing more than mere cowards as they fear the dark, they abandon it the second they can not see, and only through that can they truly see. it is why they are blind, because they do not allow their eyes to adjust.

the darkness holds secrets, hidden meanings, meanings of many things, even life itself. Aleena walks within the darkness sometimes, though it scares per, and as such per and I only take strolls within it. while per may claim to like it, per does not want to live in it. per tried that life, and it failed for per.

some people, including myself say "satisfy your soul, not the society", and this rings true because you only get one life, don't waste it, and fuck anyone who says anything to the contrary. while I may not have a soul, only a sadistic mind, I shall still satisfy it by hurting those who wronged me.

I do sincerely hope you see the message I am trying to convey. the darkness is only that until your eyes adjust, then it is just darker, not pitch black. once your eyes adjust, it is darkness, but not pure darkness, as there are always stars. it is a distinction that many fail to appreciate. pure darkness is what evil is, it is the people who have no modicum of morals or respect, or any semblance of the light, and while they are people, they only prey on others. the evil ones are the evil predators who only desire hunting, hurting, murdering, and coming out on top, but they are only the masters of their one rock, and only until a worse predator comes along to knock them off. I am not that. I know how to work within the light and the dark, even if i choose to live in the dark all the time. however I do not prey upon others unless they wrong me, and have a modicum of respect for people. that is the difference, people who are animals, monsters, worrying only about being predators, and the people who are predators, but it is not all they are. I fall into the latter.

I reside within the darkness, yet even I bring a torch into pure darkness, as it is not a place I like, nor am welcomed in, nor want to be a part of.

perhaps I fear the pure darkness, perhaps I know I want to be better than it and those who reside within it, perhaps I secretly love it and everything else is an act to "pass" and "fit in"; no one will know, and it is a secret that shall only be told upon my death, or perhaps even never.
