The things society deems "acceptable" by way of "artistic context"
However I see it for what it is: others trying to express the darkness in a way that passes within the light, those who live in the darkness, and wish to bring it to some small audience within the light.
These are trailers for movies and media that I enjoyed and have found to be fun, some darker, some fantasy, some with a splinter of sci fi or other topics, but all with darker undertones, or sections of darkness. all of these I have watched start to finish (unless stated otherwise). some of them I may include a review for, linked below the trailer.

Jonah Hex, wonderful western movie, I actually got inspiration for how I sign my X's from it. beautiful amounts of grit, fantasy, and darkness, and action.
